Sally is my sweet love bug! She loves to be loved and snuggle close to me in bed. She is also my naughtiest of Vizslas, in that I have to “Sally proof” my house before I leave. She has learned how to open doors, requiring me to change the handles on certain doors throughout my home, and she knows how to open my garbage drawer, pantry door and oven in the kitchen! On the positive side, she forces me to keep my house picked up so she can’t get into trouble. Sally has a keen nose in the field and strong, staunch points. From day one, she has demonstrated beautiful honors, which are a thrill to see. Rather than say she is a beautiful bitch, the word that better describes Sally is “cute.” That better fits her personality.

I lost my sweet Sally at the age of 12 1/2 years of age to suspected hemangiosarcoma.  Less than a week prior, she went hunting during a training with her daughter and granddaughter. She is now with her mother, Annie, and I am sure they are hunting up a storm in heaven!  Always loved, never forgotten.
