The only male I’ve had in my life was my special “heart” dog, Cid, who died in 1992. After many years, I was finally ready to add another special boy to my life. My goal was to produce a dog that was the same “type” as my Cid. This breeding in 2006 produced Lewis, and he has far surpassed all my goals. He has beautiful conformation, a strong drive in the field and is one of the most affectionate dogs in my household. In 2009, Lewis was number 3 Vizsla in Breed; number 1 Male is USA and number 4 in All Breed as well as earning a Best In Specialty Show and his Grand Championship. As a breeder, owner, trainer and handler – Lewis and I together earned his Field Championship, Amateur Field Championship and Senior Hunter. We are currently working on his Master Hunter title. Lewis has taken me on a ride I never thought was possible – I am so proud of the “team” we have become. He earned his Registry of Merit through all the wonderful offspring he has produced. While he will never erase Cid’s place in my heart, Lewis is, nonetheless, my dream come true – and even more!
